Consultations, Screenings and Evaluations:
An evaluation involves assessing your child’s communication skills to identify strengths and areas for improvement. Whether your child is a delayed talker or has difficulty producing sounds clearly, I’ll use various activities to understand their needs. Articulation
Articulation therapy focuses on helping your child use their lips, tongue, and other mouth parts correctly to produce sounds clearly. We work on the precise placement and movement of these articulators to improve how your child speaks.
Natural Language Acquisition (GLP)
Gestalt Language Processing is common in children with Autism, where they learn language in chunks, like phrases or sentences, rather than individual words. Therapy helps them use these chunks more effectively to build a flexible, functional communication system for better self-expression
Fluency
Fluency therapy supports individuals who stuttering. Using tailored strategies, we work to improve speech flow, reduce tension, and build confidence, helping clients communicate more smoothly and effectively.
Language
Language therapy helps children with expressive and receptive language difficulties, by improving their ability to communicate and understand spoken language. We focus on enhancing communication, comprehension, listening skills, grammar, and vocabulary development.
Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) provides tools such as communication devices to help those with speech or writing challenges. Therapy focuses on selecting the right system for each child, teaching them to use it confidently, and integrating it into their everyday communication.
Social Skills
Social skills therapy builds essential abilities like reading nonverbal cues, holding conversations, and developing empathy. Using activities, role-playing, and real-life scenarios, we help clients gain confidence in social interactions.
Literacy
Our program emphasizes the development of phonological awareness, vocabulary expansion, and reading comprehension through interactive and enjoyable methods. We incorporate activities such as story-based play guided reading.
